i really like this alot the shading and the coloring style you use. Though im not sure if you want critique, but the only thing i see anatomy wise is the nose one side seems a little rounder and protrudes out more than that other side
i'd say a quick liquify tool would fix that but that's just me. The only other thing that kind of bugs me (me personally) is the color of the necklace and color of the dress. The dress has more of and organic red/brown color with gold and then the dress is a very bright contrasted pink. I'm not a fan of red and pink together unless its close variations.
but its to the artist's preference in color anyways the eyes are something unique too and i love the loose, scraggly hair
Thanks for your comments and critique. You're right about the nose its kinda structured kinda funny but i painted it so many times and that was the best i could get it. The colours seen in the piece could be due to monitor difference because it looks ways better on my CRT which i painted it on (the necklace is more of a redish purple) then when i display it on my LCD its a lot brighter and more red/brown like u described. I'm glad you like the piece though and i appreciate the time you took for the critique
well yeah sometimes when you do things over and over again you dont know what's right or wrong but to me its mostly just the right side of her nose, just needs to be pulled out a little more but still the depth in the eyes, the over all structure of the face is perfect
and well true, i never thought about my bloody monitor hmmm maybe i should view it on my other one
